Aiseesoft iPad 2 Converter Suite combines a video converter and a DVD ripper. Those apps take care of pretty much any conversion task necessary to put videos or movies on your iPad. You can convert any DVD movie into a video file that will play on your iPad, and you can also convert video files that are not compatible with the iPad into videos encoded using the supported formats (MPEG-4 and H.264).
When you launch the application, you will see a launcher that will take you to the DVD ripper and the video converter, which will open in separate windows. Each app is independent from the other. I tested the DVD ripper and the video converter, and I have to say that I am impressed. Both of the apps looked very nice and they worked well. There is also a video editor that lets you trim and crop your videos and adjust their brightness and contrast.
